The world-renowned Perth Zoo is a 41-acre zoo that opened in 1898. This conservation-style zoo is home to 1,258 animals of 164 species and includes an extensive botanical collection. The zoo is open daily throughout the year from 9am to 5pm and is 5.6 km away from the hotel.
Kings Park is the ideal spot to start your day in the morning or take a walk and unwind in the evening. The 400-hectacre park, a showcase of Western Australian flora, is located just 2km away from the hotel on the western edge of Perth's central business district. Free guided walks led by the volunteer park guides are also available daily from outside the Aspects of Kings Park at 10am and 12pm (1 September – 30 June) as well as 2pm.
