Optus Stadium is owned by the Western Australian State Government and proudly operated by VenuesLive. Construction of the venue began in December 2013, with the Stadium officially opening on Sunday 21 January 2018. The Stadium and the surrounding Park is located east of the Perth Central Business District, on the Burswood Peninsula. With views of the picturesque Swan River and Perth city in the west and the foothills in the east, this 60,000 seat, world-class, multi-purpose Stadium hosts a variety of sports and entertainment events, including Australian Football League, International and Big Bash League cricket, soccer, rugby league and union, plus concerts.
Kings Park is the ideal spot to start your day in the morning or take a walk and unwind in the evening. The 400-hectacre park, a showcase of Western Australian flora, is located just 2km away from the hotel on the western edge of Perth's central business district. Free guided walks led by the volunteer park guides are also available daily from outside the Aspects of Kings Park at 10am and 12pm (1 September – 30 June) as well as 2pm.
Elizabeth Quay, just 2.5km away from the hotel, is a new major mixed-use development in Perth CBD, showcasing Perth’s waterfront. Look out for special events, festivals and exhibitions held there on a regular basis. Take a guided segway tour starting at the Barrack Street Jetty, and don’t miss trying one of the many restaurant dining options there.

Fremantle is a port city in Western Australia that's part of the Perth metropolitan area. It's known for its maritime history, Victorian architecture and remnants from Australia's days as a British penal colony. Fremantle Prison, which housed convicts from the 1850s to 1991, now features re-created cellblocks. The 12-sided Round House, a landmark 1831 building, also briefly functioned as a jail.
